JOB SUMMARY

This role is responsible for general shipping and receiving warehouse duties within our warehouse facility. Position will support all Sales, Service and Installation functions.

Warehouse Responsibilities- General

• Maintain a physical presence in the warehouse in order to process day-to-day activity.
• Cleaning warehouse and shipping room.
• Answer the company phone.
• Checking and replying to all company emails.
• Receive all inbound/outbound mail on a daily basis.
• Interface with corporate personnel to accurately process warehouse tasks associated with the warehouse operations.
• Maintain daily maintenance on the forklift/monitoring water level and weekly charging.

Shipping and Receiving

• Loads and unloads freight on a daily basis.
• Receive all freight shipments (UPS, freight carriers, etc.) to inventory or distribute to the correct department.
• Packages parts, supplies and equipment for shipping.
• Print UPS labels for items to be shipped.
• Trace any shipments in questions.
• Process any small package claims (UPS/FED-EX)
• Maintain accurate shipping and freight records.
• Maintain shipping supply levels (boxes, tape, foam, bubble, ext.)
• Print, pull, and verify Tech Mate orders.
• Assist with processing Supply Orders

Inventory Control

• Perform any required physical inventories.
• Process inactive inventory
• Assist with Full Tech Inventory Counts.
• Assist with Freight Claims
• Annual Cycle Counts

Installation Support:

· Verify receipt of equipment on a job by job basis.

· Maintains control over Job inventories

· Pull, stage and load equipment as required to support the installation teams.

· Assist with disposition of customer equipment returned from jobs.

Shipping Courier

· Make emergency deliveries, pick up used equipment from customer locations, and pick up locally acquired parts, tools and equipment.

Other Duties as Assigned

· Overall cleanliness and neatness of the warehouse, shipping area and receiving area

· Provide local support for fleet management services.

· Removal of scrap metal and follow-up of claim checks

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma

Experience:

• 3 years warehouse operations experience
• Must be able to operate a Forklift.

Skills:

· Strong Computer Skills in Microsoft Office & UPS/Fed-X shipping Software

· Must have clean driving record with ability to drive van or light truck with lift gate.

· Ability to drive a sit-down forklift required

· Must be able to read and write legibly.

· Good organization skills

· Good verbal communication skills

· Self-starter, work independently with a minimal level of supervision

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL-MENTAL FUNCTIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

· Able to properly lift 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally. The highest point of any lift - overhead; the lowest point of any lift - the floor.

· Able to move 50 pounds or less frequently, 100 pounds or less occasionally.

· Able to push/pull objects with moderate effort frequently. Maximum effort occasionally.

· Able to stand and remain on feet for up to 8 hours per day, 4 hours continuously.

· Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist turning/torqueing for up to 8 hours per day, 4 hours continuously.

· Able to effectively communicate with employees, freight carriers, etc.

· Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, perceive depth continuously.

· Able to understand, relate to, and apply concepts on a continuous basis.

· Able to remember multiple tasks / assignments given to self and others over long periods of time continuously.
